Habitat for Humanity - Working with Eugene/Springfield for a better tomorrow

Habitat Sign

Habitat for Humanity works in partnership with God and people everywhere, from all walks of life, to develop communities with God's people in need of building and renovating houses in decent coummunities in which God's people can live and grow into all that God intended.

Wall Raising
Volunteers work together while framing a house.

Springfield/Eugene HfH became an affiliate in 1990.
As of March 27th we completed 24 houses: 19 in Springfield, 4 in Eugene and 1 in Veneta.

All partner families contribute at least 500 hours of "sweat equity" in building their own and other Habitat houses.

A new house is in the works scheduled for a June 19th groundbreaking. If you would like to volunteer, call in to our office at the corner of 12th & G in Springfield, or call (541)741-1707. Or e-mail us for exact addresses and dates in which you can help.

We depend on the financial support of individuals, businesses, churches and organizations. If you would like to donate, please send your tax-deductible contribution to HfH, P.O. 488, Springfield, OR. 97477.
